Like It Usta Was
Iron, copper, silver and gold made some men rich and some poor. Prospectors, engineers, businessmen, scoundrels, fraudulent stockbrokers, saloons, and railroads poured into the area.
This 364-page book is a visual history from the late 1700s to 1989, full of documents, mementos, articles, significant dates with notes and over 400 images. It shows visual snapshots of daily life; iron mining; logging and transportation.
Originally compiled by Earle Sell in print form in 1990.
In 2020, his son digitally recreated the book
and used the original color photos, articles
and documents wherever possible.

Just changed slightly by his son because
some of the original pages were taken out and 3 or 4 different ones were added. This was done because those original would not copy / scan correctly for the printing company.
